Time to move on to the Unstampabelles Design Team creations.  For two of our Design Team this was the first time they have made an Easel card.....I hope this inspires you to try something new.

We will start with our Design Team Favourite from Challenge #21 who has returned as our
Guest Designer this month - Reena of Meticulously Made has created this beautiful Mother's day easel card a heart and flowers.  So very original.

Merry of Merrymade Cards has made this teacup card for Mother's Day thanks to a tutorial at Cardmaking Paradise.  Merry had used cardstock from Stampin Up Wild Wasbi, Pale Plum, and Creamy Caramel.  Instead of white foam for the biscuit centre Merry glued layers of white cardstock together.

Sarah of 'Paper Pie'  also has never made an Easel card before this challenge.  Sarah thought it was so fun to make!  Sarah loves how you get an extra pop of colour across the bottom :-)  The flower is from Dear Lizzy and my sentiments are stickers.

Susan of Time to Play has used papers from a Kaiser (Periwinkle) stack and  border and tag stickers from Making Memories 5th Avenue collection;  Susan added an antique brad from Stampin' Up; a piece from Prima's Almanac Paper Pack and a piece of vellum containing a message.  Susan also added some black ribbon and the number 50 die cut using a Di-namics set.

Beth of Huggies Crafts has made a Twisted Easel card. Beth has only used Stampin Up products on her card since she is the prize sponsor this month and show how easily it is to use Stampin Up products without using a stamp. The base is cut with  the Top Note die, the owl with the owl punch, and the labels in the lower half are the framelits labels collection. Papers used are Whisper White for the base card, and  Urban Garden DSP and Twitterpated DSP. Beth used Basic Pearls to embellish. The stamped sentiment is from Apothecary Art.

Cathy of Cathy's Creative Corner printed this gorgeous image on white cardstock three times, hand cut out and layered various elements, highlighting with Kindy Glitz, gold stickers sentiment and stars have also been used.  Cathy went through her stash and found the most perfect backing papers ;-)

JanR of Huh! So this is a Blog relied heavily on her Silhouette for this one.

Jessica of Bits and Pieces created this sweet card, perfect for Mother's day this Sunday (12th May) using alpha stickers for the sentiment, and the vine and doily die cuts are from from My Favourite Things Die-namics.

Lauren of 'Let's Get Messy' has never made an easel card and needed a baptism card which has never done before either.  I think she has done both beautifully.  Lauren has used a Tim Holtz embossing folder, Martha Stewart and Stampin' Up! punches, American Crafts Thickers, Kaisercraft run-on and pearls. The ribbon and charm were bits she had on her desk.

Remember - no stamps.  :-)

Halfway Inspiration for Challenge #22 - Anything but a Card

So many interesting and creative projects have been entered this month in our Anything but a Card challenge.  Keep them coming as we are having a wonderful time checking them all out.  Time for some more inspiration from members of our Design Team.

First off we have Susan with this Altered Gin Tin.  Visit Susan at 'Time to Play' to read how this creation came together.

The nest that appears on top of the embellished tin.

Jessica used an old jar, and jazzed it up with some cardstock, crochet lace, paper leaves and satin layered flower that was given to her by a crafty friend she made thru blogging :) Will come in handy for keeping the desk a bit tidier :)

Beth has made this cup and saucer using a Sizzex die then decorated with paper flowers.  When Beth gives these as gifts she usually puts a couple of chocolates inside along with a real lace edged Handkerchief.

Merry has been busy with old paperbacks again.  This time she has done two different styles of Folded Book Art thanks to these tutorials at 'A Whimsy Willow'.  After folding all the pages (approx 330) Merry attached patterned paper to the inside covers to help showcase the folds.

Inspiration time from the Unstamapbelles Design Team.........

First off is our Guest Designer this month - Amelia of Stamped for the Occasion
Amelia punched the top and bottom of the tag with a Martha Stewart deep edge punch ” Scroll Hearts” and add two oval die cut layers “Spellbinders Floral Ovals and Petite Scalloped Ovals Small” to frame the cats. The flowers are from the Prima range “Soubrette C” and “Charme Rose MeadowLark” The cats are painted with gesso and dressed up with pink wax cord bows. The verso of the tag is also embellished with a  pink heart and an oval die

Lauren has decided to make a tag.  The tag base and butterfly are both Scrapmatts chipboard. Lauren has also included some lace, a doily and flower trim for added texture.

Merry has created this apple from an old paperback book using the wonderful tutorial from Cheeky Magpie here.  Merry didn't have any re-inkers so used Stampin Up inkspots and acrylic paints to colour the edges of the pages.

This lovely mobile is from Sarah who purchased the wire section from Amazon and then created the stars using her Cricut. To create each 3D star, Sarah cut out 4 flat stars on her Cricut then glued them back to back so there would be two double sided pairs.  Sarah then cut a slit through the middle of each pair to slide them together and create the 3D star.  Because they are so light, just walking into the room creates enough of a breeze to move the mobile!  For even more fun, the shapes can be changed whenever you like so the baby always has something new to watch  :-)

Susan quickly made up these two little lolly containers from templates - the heart has 4 small Easter eggs in it and the rectangle has about 10 - the die cut eggs are from card that has been twice embossed using Versamark brayered into the embossing folder prior to putting it through the Big Shot, and then gold embossing powder heat set after.

Beth is sharing a decorated wooden frame.
Beth bought the frame from a $2 shop, they were plain wood with a black metal wrought iron stand. Beth painted the frame with black acrylic paint, and decorated it with chipboard letters, paper flowers and punched butterflies. The pink inner frame for the small photo is made from coordination's card and embossed and sanded back to show the inner core colour. Beth finished with more flowers and some bling.

JanR had made Fridge Magnets out of clear stamping blocks approx 7.5cm square. **For the record,  it looks like the paper has been cut the wrong size and it's sticking out the sides of the magnet. This is just a reflection, (the paper is glued to the back side of the block)  the paper is the same size as the block.

Time for you to share with us a papercraft 'Anything but a Card'.
